The Mission

Access to nutritious, non-perishable food is incredibly important. You can help keep our refrigerators and pantries stocked with staples such as maize (corn), red beans, green grams, rice, and milk by making a donation to our Milk & Meals Fund.

Want to help beyond giving financially? Here are some ideas:

Cook

You have to eat. You have to nourish your body—so try your hand at cooking Kenyan food. It is nutritious, low-cost, and simple (only basic ingredients and kitchen tools are needed). It is family-friendly, vegetarian/vegan-friendly, and gluten-free-friendly.

If you don't know how—don't worry! We're going to teach you. Every week, we'll be releasing an authentic recipe along with guided instructions.

If you have more than you need, please consider cooking a Kenyan meal for someone in your community who needs additional support. This could be an isolated elderly neighbor, a tired health care worker, a person who recently lost their job, etc. Just make sure you follow the recommended guidelines in your area.

Get Involved

According to the United Nations, many people in Sub-Saharan Africa still face food insecurity. This can lead to undernourishment, stunting, and wasting.

At Rehema Home, we take nutrition and health seriously. We serve three meals a day and a snack. We also serve milk—a lot of milk!

It costs $1,020 a week to feed all of our babies, toddlers, kids, tweens, teens, and young adults. Please give generously to our Milk & Meals Fund today!
