Joe

Birthday: February 23, 2006

Joe came to Rehema Home Nairobi when he was thirteen months old. His grandmother was unable to care for him the way she wanted to and we welcomed him into our family. He was weak and malnourished when he arrived, but as we have become accustomed to witnessing, it took only a couple of weeks to start seeing changes.

Now that weak little boy has grown and strengthened. Joe is incredibly robust! He is a “boy’s boy”. He runs, climbs, flips, jumps, and plays sports. He is also very mischievous. He is a normal, healthy boy. He will make a playmate out of anyone and everyone.

Joe seems fearless. And nothing seems to bother him too much. One can only wonder what those qualities will be used for in his future.
